I can easily say that hiring Pro’s Edge to build my home is the best decision I could have made. I actually started out with another modular company and ultimately switched to Pro’s Edge due to a lack of communication from the other company. I sent Pro’s Edge a message on July 3rd and Ed Cavatorta from Pro’s Edge responded the next day (on the 4th of July)! That set the tone for the rest of my building process as Ed has been attentive from the design phase through getting my certification of occupancy. Not only is Ed helpful and a pleasure to work with, my home which is now complete, is everything I wanted and more. Not to mention my home was built in the midst of coronavirus, which has its own curveballs but thankfully Ed got me through it!

I recently purchased a modular home from Pro’s Edge Quality Homes. I looked at two other companies before Pro’s Edge and the second that I met with Ed Cavatorta, I knew that Pro’s Edge was the right company to go with.

From the very beginning, I was totally amazed at how responsive Ed was. He always responded to calls and emails within 24 hours and most times sooner. When working through the design of the house, Ed had great recommendations. You can tell right away that his recommendations were for the benefit of the homeowner and not for the profitability of Pro’s Edge. He sat down with me to go over all of my initial finish selections with samples. This was not something he had to do since I had already made my selection but I am so grateful that he did. I made several changes to my initial selection from that meeting based on Ed’s recommendation and I couldn’t be happier with those changes. I only used Ed for the drop-set and not for the full work because I had already worked with a previous general contractor but I wish I had used Ed instead. Even though Ed was not my general contractor, he helped enormously on any and all questions that we had even when it was not his job to do that. In a pinch, he was able to help me get subcontractors for plumbing and garage door. He even told the garage door vendor to give me better contractor pricing. That’s the kind of guy Ed is. He truly cares about the homeowner and not about profits!

I would call Ed again in a heartbeat for any future work. He is just wonderful!

After our first meeting with Ed, we knew that he was man for the job because of his frankness and honesty, which is something we did not experience with other contractors. Ed worked extremely hard throughout the entire “turn-key” process to make sure that the experience of building new home was smooth sailing. Every step of the way, Ed kept us informed and up to date as to the building process, and he readily addressed any of our questions or concerns. Ed Cavatorta chose a great name for his firm. He and his associates are more professional and of higher quality than any other construction firms I have contracted with commercially or residentially. There are two aspects of quality in a residential project, the structure itself and the finish work.

In our case, the design of and the structure itself, are second to none. The finish work causes jaws to drop with all who visit our home. The above traits are far above normal, but they do not begin to tell the whole story. Companies have personalities. Good people gravitate towards one another. Honorable people work with quality associates.

Ed’s associates are high quality, good and honorable people. They all go above and beyond, not only in their work, but in their respect of the customer. My wife is ill, and every person that came on the job respected and strove to make her comfortable.

The house has been completed for over a year. I still call Ed with questions. He always responds the same as he did at the start of the project, with enthusiasm and kindness.
